Heceta Head Lighthouse Oregon 주 해안가에 있는 Lighthouse 모습이다.

몇년전 San Jose에서 출발하여 Seattle 가는길을 Hwy-1 따라 올라가기로 마음먹고 출발하여 그당시에는 이름도 몰랐지만  내가 늘 좋아하는 등대는 보면서 가기로 마음먹고 들렸던 곳이다.

해가 저물어 가는 시간에 도착하여 몇장 찍은 사진중 일부이다.

Google search로 찾은 사진과 함께 퍼온 글도 올려본다.

The Heceta Head Lighthouse has a name that is pronounced to be Ha-SEE-Ta while others also say it as HECK-ah-Ta. It is known to be one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the entire globe. It is included in the listing of the National Register of Historic Places. It is considered to be a working lighthouse. It has a height that reaches about 205 feet right above the sea level and its first order Fresnel lens can be cast with its beam that  measures about 21 miles out right into the sea.

It is the brightest light that is seen on the Oregon coast. It is also considered to be the most photographed lighthouse in the US. It is located right on the cliff where you can find an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. The path to its keeper house can lead straight to the lighthouse and the beach. The Keeper’s House

Year Round the Heceta Head Lightstation offers a Bed and Breakfast for the romantic traveler.

Restoration을 마친 Heceta Head LightHouse 는 Keeper's House를 B&B House로 일반에게 열고 있다는 소식을 보고 반가워 같이 올려본다.

언제 시간이 허용된다면 꼭 한번 가서 하루밤 지내며 밤의 등대모습과 쏟아지는 별빛을 보고 싶다.

2017년 9월 다시 찾아간 Heceta Head Light House

안개가 몰려오더니 Hwy 1에서 겨우 보이던 모습이 점점 짙어지더니 순간에  안개에 파뭍혀 버린 아쉬운

모습들이다
